Becoming Critical Teacher Educators: Insights From a Social Justice Community of Practice

Abstract

This paper captures the work of our Community of Practice as we sought to address the murky gap between the theory and practice of social justice in teacher education. By first clearly defining our theoretical groundings and then intentionally connecting our conceptual tools to collective critical reflection on our work as teacher educators, we illuminate the process and product of uniting the theory and practice of teacher education for social justice.
