Mon, April 11, 10:00 to 11:30am, Convention Center, Floor: Level Two, Exhibit Hall D Section D

Abstract

This study focuses on the exploration of a blended gamification system model, which is assumed to promote teachers’ knowledge generation. Problem-based learning and user-centered design approach were used as the theoretical frameworks that guide the system’s design and development process. The iterative process was based on feedback collected from teachers after each round of implementation. The results showed that the blended gamification system has effectively promoted teachers’ knowledge generation and sharing. Results and implications are discussed.
