In this paper we outline how settler-colonialism is used to erase Indigenous futurity by actively perpetuating human disconnection from land. We further posit that settler-colonialism is alive and well in science education, particularly in climate change-related discourse. The effect of these discourses disconnects all people from lands, not only continuing indigenous erasure, but also ensuring that humans by and large are separated from land.
