Over the past decade, school climate reform has become the focus of school districts nationwide. Moreover, the U.S. Department of Education endorses school climate reform as the empirically supported and recommended method to impact bullying prevention in schools. Although research supports school climate reform, as a whole, as the best practice for schools to address bullying prevention, few studies investigate which specific domains of school climate impact reports of bullying and victimization. In this study, faculty and student perceptions of school climate are compared. Additionally, the authors investigate which domains of school climate impact student reports of bullying and victimization. Implications for customized school climate interventions are discussed.
