The purpose of this investigation was to qualitatively explore teacher's perceptions of the relevant advantages of adopting learning games as a form of instruction-as-usual. Teachers’ beliefs and practices about instructional technology have been extensively studied, and those studies were reviewed. Based on this literature review, four constructs were chosen as the components of teachers’ behavioral intentions. Those components are Learning Opportunities, Subjective Norm, Critical Mass, and Personal Innovativeness. Results suggest that middle school mathematics teachers are eager to use innovative methods, however their physical conditions cause serious limitations to convert their intentions into practice.
