Abstract

This paper examines the authors, sponsoring organizations, and content of writing-related resources that states are currently providing for English/Language Arts teachers to support college and career readiness standards. This study uses social network and qualitative analysis to identify the organizations to which states most commonly turn for writing resources to support new standards, as well as to describe the nature of the writing-focused resources that state educational agencies are endorsing for teachers.
