This study examines the sponsoring organizations and content of instructional resources that states are currently providing for English/Language Arts teachers to support the implementation of college and career readiness standards. Drawing on the literature on policy implementation, intermediary organizations, and teachers’ use of curriculum materials, the study uses social network analysis to identify the organizations to which states most commonly turn for teacher resources to support new standards. The study also describes the nature of the resources state educational agencies are endorsing for teachers.
