As a methodology of cityscapes moves through space and time, it examines how subjects impact subjects, matter impacts subjects, subjects impact matter, matter impacts other matter, and so on in urban settings. Four researchers from across the world experiment in her/his respective cities to create cityscapes, with a particular focus on PK-12 children and the places where they live and learn. A methodology of cityscapes creates a space for these researchers to think relationships between the discursive, material, ethical, and political and what these relationships create. In such a stitched together methodology, a responsible, political, and compassionate ethics emerges in which researchers must acknowledge the precarious stitching that constitutes the cityscapes in which children live and learn.
