Fri, April 8, 4:05 to 5:35pm, Convention Center, Floor: Level Two, Exhibit Hall D Section A

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to review the alignment of the curriculum standards and the questions of LDE 2015. In order to investigate the conformity between curriculum and questions, reviews were conducted with the science teachers. All reviews were briefly noted with reasoning for analysis. Superficial assessment indicated that science curriculum had a consistency with the exam questions. However, it was found that the questions only fulfill the limited number of criterion when the LDE was analyzed in terms of Webb’s alignment criteria. In this case, there is a strong need for the assessment of entire exam questions included all subjects and tests to reach to the stronger conclusions.
