Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to bring together concepts and commitments from democratic, post-structural and queer theories. In essence, we aim to conceptualize a queered democratic theory. By doing so, we attempt to provide a richer theoretical framing for equity-oriented education policies, and bring more nuanced attention to how those policies are implemented.
