While the goal of educational research is to improve education, evidence from qualitative research suggests that classroom teachers do not find it valuable. To find educational research valuable, a teacher must believe it has utility (relevant and practical), accessibility (found readily and comprehended), and credibility (values teachers). A sample of 200 teachers was collected to perform an Exploratory Factor Analysis and reliability analysis of the instrument. The results of both analyses were promising (items load well; α>.8), and confirm the qualitative research. The next step for this instrument will be to conduct a confirmatory factor analysis (CFA).
