Measuring Undergraduate Innovation

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to describe the process of creating and pretesting an instrument that assesses campus climates for innovation, including students' innovation outcomes. We also discuss in detail how an interdisciplinary theoretical framework was utilized to generate items and constructs for measurement. Implications for higher education research are discussed.
