Abstract

Utilizing autoethnography and self-study, the artist/researcher reflects on the parallels between his artistic engagements with the medium of glass (kiln formed glass and mixed media glass mosaic) and the researcher’s academic engagements related to instruction and research. Thus, the researcher’s main objective is to articulate and reveal how the researcher’s work as an artist informs, transforms, and impacts the researcher’s pedagogy and educational research paradigms.
