This paper examines the integration of curriculum as theological text in the classroom as a mechanism to explore our innate ontological perspectives, indeed our lived experiences, as matter of “human faith” (Fowler, 1981). I draw upon Slattery’s (2013) postmodern framework of proleptic eschatology in an effort to promote an inspirited version of Pinar’s (2013) currere. As such, currere(ing) the spirit creates space for transcendence within education that acknowledges the interdependent nature of who we are in relation to others. Finally, in keeping with a postmodern framework, I provide a reflexive, autobiographical self-narrative of the proleptic in relation to curriculum as an onto-epistemological lens in which I “cannot not” think with as it is “in [my] bones” (Childers, 2012, p. 607).
