Abstract

This paper focuses on the realm of leadership to examine what it means to practice leadership in holistic schools that define themselves around spirituality. How do holistic educators perceive leadership? What are the tenets of holistic leadership and how is leadership intertwined with holistic pedagogical principles?
This paper draws on the work of J.Krishnamurti’s holistic educational philosophy to interpret what it means to be a teacher/educator/ leader within Krishnamurti schools.
