Abstract

Monica Galloway Burke and Colin D. Cannonier offer a novel and critical analysis of the effect of the current economic landscape on HBCUs, with particular attention to the impact on enrollment and funding. In addition, the presentation will conclude with a discussion about the present challenges for HBCUs and will also offer implications about how these institutions can move forward in the current economic and social climate.
