Interpreting the situational experiences of teachers based on their emotions may provide insight into how teachers learn and how to provide them with better support in times of change. Our findings demonstrate that although common tensions emerged in the curriculum implementation process, each teacher appraised and experienced emotions around these tensions differently based on their self-efficacy and other beliefs.
