This study describes and compares the beliefs and perceptions about the employability of people with intellectual disability (PID) of 118 families, 54 professionals and 60 young/adults with intellectual disability belonging to a non governmental association for people with ID in the Valencian Community (Spain). Surveys, interviews and focus groups were used as data collection techniques. Results indicate that families, professionals and people with ID have different views and expectations on employability. Implications for practice are proposed.
