Abstract

The purpose of the study is to examine the state of mental health and help seeking behaviors, and associated factors (e.g., adolescents’ demographic characteristics, parents’ demographic and socioeconomic background, acculturation-related factors, and adult figure factors) among Asian American adolescents using California Health Interview Survey conducted in 2009 (UCLA Center for Health Policy Research, 2009).
