As an African American and two Latina sista/hermana’s, we continue research engagement in critical consciousness dialogues (CCD) as scholars, mothers, activists, and pedagogues investigating our empowerment and freedom partially discovered while negotiating the archaic, colonizing tenure track process. Our tripartite scholarship is in phase three and our very presence as women of color revolutionizes the academy as we are role models for our students, colleagues, and communidad (community) in the praxis and empowerment during tenure. The purpose of this presentation is to report new findings of our theorized tripartite CCDs framed and analyzed through Critical Race Feminism and Critical Race Theory of our navigation, revolution, and leadership in the determining elements as women of color in the academy’s tenuring process.
