Abstract

This paper is to report the trajectories of two beginning teachers’ professional growth in the aspect of teacher leadership potentials. Unlike the most beginning teachers who tried to survive in the first year of teaching, Henry (Singapore) and Mike (USA) strive to make a positive impact in and beyond their classrooms and schools by discovering and capitalizing on their tech-savvy strengths. They are committed to try out the innovative use of using information technology, to take risks, to walk additional miles, to make positive impact for their students, and to lead others for technology integration. Thus, learning to teach with digital technologies holds the potential to transform teaching and learning in schools amongst and through beginning teachers
