Sat, April 9, 10:35am to 12:05pm, Marriott Marquis, Floor: Level Four, Liberty Salon O

Abstract

Three grade span configurations (K–8, 6–8, and 7–8) in a mid-Atlantic state were investigated, measuring student academic achievement and stakeholders’ perceptions of school climate. Comparisons were made of differences in urban middle school performance by grade span configuration and stakeholders’ perceptions of school climate and its influence on student achievement.
