Abstract

This presentation will begin with a conversation about sharing one's scholarship widely in open access repositories and also how others, including the presenter, have structured classes to invite student empowerment in order to initiate a scholarly conversation outside the walls of the classroom. There will also be a discussion about how the presenter has been able to work with organizations across many different disciplines to make a practical impact that also translates into scholarly activity.
