Session Type: Symposium
This symposium is intended to create rich dialogue about the use of ethnodrama as a form of professional development. The session will highlight three diverse approaches that draw content from different areas of research: teacher leadership development, educational policy studies, and community literacy. Each set of presenters will discuss the grounds for their approach and then will stage a brief performance. Audience interaction will be structured before and after each presentation. Following Belliveau, our goal is to spark the imagination and help the audience imagine the use of theatre to envision the prospects for change.
