Abstract

The prevailing discourse in higher education focuses on men of color, which is important but situated in ways that may make invisible the experiences of women of color. Rarely are women of color faculty in higher education allowed the space to come together and think about their positionality within academia and in mentoring relationships. Using Crenshaw (1991) as a framework, faculty women of color will engage topics related to their research, teaching and service.
