Session Type: Invited Speaker Session
This session is aimed at graduate students and other scholars who are interested in Asian American and Pacific Islander, Black, Latino, and Native American boys and men in education. Presenters will highlight several problems in published studies on these populations and offer guidance on crafting more complex research questions, using more sophisticated interdisciplinary frameworks, and employing more rigorous methods to address these issues. Session attendees and the presenters will collaboratively develop a research agenda that complicates and advances scholarship on boys and men of color at all education levels, from preschool through doctoral study.
