Division J Graduate Student Session. Key Documents for New and Aspiring Academics: Developing Your Research Agenda, Writing Grant Proposals, and Preparing Job Search Materials

Abstract

The purpose of this session is to facilitate roundtable discussions with leading higher education scholars on the development of three documents that are important for new scholars: research agenda, job search documents, and grant proposals. These roundtable discussions have been purposefully planned in speaking to graduate student concerns at different stages in their academic/professional development. The session will be organized into three roundtables with 2-3 faculty facilitators for each.
