Abstract

After a brief business meeting, Ting Zhang, 2014 ASOND Dissertation Award winner, will present her research on "The Role of Reading Comprehension in Large-Scale Subject Matter Assessments." Andrew White, National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), will update SIG members and guests on the new online data training system at NCES. The Distance Learning Dataset Training System provides information about NCES datasets and the tools that users need in order to find published reports, explore and acquire data, create data files, and conduct analyses in selected statistical software packages.
