Abstract

The Scholars Strategy Network seeks to improve public policy and strengthen democracy by organizing scholars working in America's colleges and universities. It connects scholars and their research to policymakers, citizens’ associations, and the media. Scholars from across the nation share examples of public scholarship in different formats that have successfully influenced local, regional, and national policy in higher education. Policy briefs and websites will be included in the session, along with a follow up reception for networking and information about how to join SSN.
