In this chapter we take up research puzzles around how teachers compose knowledge, identities and ways forward in relation with others. Drawing on our previous work on narrative conceptions of teacher knowledge (Clandinin, Schaefer & Downey, 2014) and Edwards’ (2005, 2010) concept of relational agency, we inquire into the experiences of Kira, a teacher who left teaching after her fifth year, to consider ways in which her knowledge and agency might be co-composed in relation with, and across, knowledge landscapes. Further inquiry into the narrative account of Kira, a participant in a study of teacher knowledge (Clandinin, Schaefer & Downey, 2014), allowed us to consider the relational aspect of knowledge, agency and identity.
