Schools have dynamic and changing social environments which present a variety of
challenges to campus leaders. School leaders can benefit from a better understanding of how greater levels of principal influence serves as a tool for leaders to effectively implement change in school systems.
The results of this study suggest principal influence can make a difference on school climate. The power of persuasion yielded by a principal affects the overall climate of a school. Anderson (1982) emphasized the influence of the principal as a key factor in formulating an effective learning environment. The data analysis may serve as a resource for leaders who seek to improve organizational climate in order to address inequity and improve educational outcomes for all students.
