Farm Women in the Academy: A Collective Biography of Two Higher Education Leaders

Abstract

Through the use of collective biography, this paper examines the ways that rural identities mediate the leadership enactment of women in higher education. Results reveal that the intersections of the identities of rural, woman, and leader manifest themselves in both implicit and explicit ways.
