Fuller, Henderson and Bustamante (2015) found a link between cultures of assessment and servant leadership. In their Delphi study, experts of assessment noted how servant leadership is an ideal leadership theory to foster positive cultures of assessment. Yet, these experts did not specify how servant leadership could be used. Further there are still many questions as to what exactly servant leadership entails (Winston & Fields, 2015). Due to the potential of servant leadership to possibly bolster cultures of assessment, this study revisited the data from the Delphi study to glean insights about how servant leadership could be used for this purpose. These themes, reinterpreted through the lens of servant leadership, helped to form a tentative framework which will be discussed.
