Abstract

This paper reports progress in a design-based research-practice partnership project for enhancing teachers’ reflective practice in a professional learning network (PLN). For this project, a series of reflective activities has been developed and implemented through the iterative process of design-based research. In this paper, we will present different modes of reflective activities (i.e., self-reflection in Edmodo, pair-reflection on class observation, and video-based collective reflection) as an activity system, elaborate how each component of the activities interacts with the other within an activity system for reflection and discuss the related process of fostering a culture of reflection in the PLN by illustrating it as a practical model.
