Abstract

This systematic review analyzes the efficacy of help seeking interventions as a self-regulated learning strategy. Only studies that provide help seeking training as a self-regulated, social-interactional strategy and included school-aged participants (preK-16) were examined. Studies were evaluated to assess the malleability of help seeking behavior and how help seeking interventions affect academic, social, and behavioral performance.
