This study was conducted in a remotely rural area of northern China. Nine hundred and twenty-eight K-12 school teachers were surveyed after they had used a professional virtual community for six years. We expanded Bhattacherjee’s expectance-confirmation model and used the structural equation modeling (SEM) procedures to analyze teachers’ intention to continue to use the VC. Results showed that teachers’ perceived usefulness, impact, and satisfaction had positive and direct impact while confirmation was found to have an indirect impact on teachers’ intention to stay in this VC.
