Abstract

This study applied the Creativity Landscape conceptual framework (Donaldson, 2016) as a diagnostic tool in evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of the instructional design of a course in terms of facilitating development of learner creativity. The purpose of the study was to determine the effectiveness of the framework as a diagnostic tool. The findings suggest that the framework is effective for this purpose, particularly in identifying areas for potential enhancement of creativity in a course design. These findings fill a gap in the literature in terms of instruments and frameworks for evaluating facilitation of learner creativity in the design of learning.
