Abstract

This paper explores intergenerational dialogue between youth and older adults through forum theatre. In this study forum theatre facilitators engaged youth and older adults in discussions and activities about social and interpersonal conflict, related to intergenerational issues in diverse urban contexts. Through this process two largely marginalized groups, youth and older adults, engaged in deepening their sense of social justice, connection and identities through conflict dialogue and forum theatre.
