The knowledge processes that originate from teachers’ action research in master’s programs are often expected to continue into their school practice after graduation. However, there is very little empirical knowledge about the way action research-based knowledge that is developed by teachers in the master’s program is actually shared with their school colleagues after graduation. This study focused on understanding these collegial interactions. Six graduates from a masters of education program (MEd) and 25 of their school colleagues were interviewed. Analyses distinguish and describe five types of collegial interactions in which MEd graduates share their action research-based knowledge with school colleagues after graduation.
