Abstract
There is ample agreement in the field that educational leadership programs should include school/university partnerships in the development, implementation, and evaluation of their principal preparation programs. Yet, it appears that the majority of them do not have such partnerships. This qualitative case study examined participants' perceptions of the factors that facilitated and hindered partnership development and sustainability and the benefits of these endeavors. A conceptual framework of school/university partnerships was formulated from the findings which should be useful to those interested in forming such partnerships.
