Teacher Candidate Professional Growth in an Integrated Elementary Special Education Program

Abstract

We present this paper drawn from a larger mixed methods study of the Integrated Elementary and Special Education program at a regional midwestern university. We present the results of our examination of teacher candidates’ sense of efficay, teacher concerns and attitudes toward inclussion as dimensions of professional growth as beginning teachers.
