This study aims to discover factors that impact the quality of worklife for teachers. The data come from a survey administered to teachers in a southeastern school district, in which 441 of the 1038 teachers responded. The survey included demographic variables and 30 questions designed to assess teacher quality of worklife. The data revealed four statistically significant factors that impacted teacher quality of worklife; marital status, race, highest degree attained, and school level. Other variables, age, household income, years in education, subject taught and certification, were not shown to statistically impact quality of worklife. Suggestions about possible implications of these findings are discussed.
