Abstract

Educational robotics is a very important instrument, providing an active learning environment. It is important for teachers to use this instrument to teach the science of robotics, master the subject, and gain experience. In this study, it is aimed to reveal educational potentials of robotics and pre-service teachers’ experiences. In addition; pre-service teachers’ experiences were revealed. The participants were 30 pre-service teachers. Interview forms were used as data collection tool. The findings indicated that robotics activities provided edutainment learning environment. The most motivating point is to teach what they learned the science of robotics to their future students. Pre-service teachers’ experiences were revealed in detail and discussed. The suggestions are presented for guiding future educational robotics studies.
