Abstract

To implement CFA, Multilevel CFA (MCFA), and Maximum Model techniques on multilevel measurement data, we provided a Microsoft Visual Tool (VT) written by C++ to analyze multilevel data on Windows platform. With the aid of VT, researchers can visually set the two-level factorial structure to fit MCFA, CFA and MAX CFA models for their hierarchical data. A simulated multilevel datasets was analyzed with VT procedure as an illustration example. The summary of the analytical result was tabulated by VT for further model interpretation and comparison.
