Abstract

The purpose of this study is to illuminate how two groups of PSTs in elementary school contexts, potentially develop a set of interrelated habits when faced with authentic problems of practice in early and advanced field placements. Our goal is to shed light on the experiences that develop habits/dispositions of inquiry in practice, explore how these habits are potentially interrelated, and propose a framework for understanding PST development of dispositions of inquiry as they solve problems of practice, particularly problems related to equity.
