Effectiveness of a Refutational Text on Teachers' Understanding of Influenza

Abstract

Influenza is a serious public health concern and schools plays an important role in the management of influenza outbreaks. This study examines the knowledge about and attitudes toward influenza of pre-service teachers and early career teachers. We examine the effectiveness of a refutational text in correcting misconceptions and improving attitudes toward influenza vaccinations.
