Abstract

This paper synthesizes research conducted on a university-assisted community school happening in Knoxville, TN. Through a combination of systematic research and theoretical research, authors explore how the UACS project has made an impact beyond the walls of the school: within the school district, within the state, and within another city. Implications for future action researchers are offered.
