Mon, May 1, 10:35am to 12:05pm, Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, Floor: Ballroom Level, Hemisfair Ballroom 1

Abstract

This study used an explanatory sequential mixed methods design, focusing primarily on qualitative data, to study the development of trust between the school principal and the faculty during the principal’s transition period. This paper reports part of a larger study, and it focuses primarily on the differences in conceptualizing and building trust between novice principals and principals with more experience in the position.
