Abstract

Classroom teachers are charged to create equitable educational opportunities that allow all students to thrive in the 21st century. However, teacher education programs must prepare teachers to do so. The purpose of this content analysis was to describe and critique the curriculum used to prepare teachers as found in literacy methods textbooks.
