This paper seeks to examine the factors that affect students’ STEM Identity and STEM Self-Efficacy growth as a result of participation in a single-sex or co-ed science summer camp. We examine the interplay of student demographic and academic characteristics with their growth in both of these metrics, as well as the impact of pre-camp levels of STEM Identity and STEM Self-Efficacy on their growth trajectories.
